I don't know about you, but I cringe every time I need to create a Grid View based layout that needs to create a few custom link handlers off that grid.
The typical scenario might be a list where you can toggle certain options or where you can fire an operation that otherwise updates the data that's underlying the grid.
We’ll start with binding data to the Grid View, then build up functionality from there.
First, we’ll implement a method to databind the Grid View, which will be called whenever databinding needs to be performed.
Note that group cells are also counted as rows and, thus, have row indexes.
The fact that this can be done in Umbraco is fantastic for a start!
Errors start to happen when you try to include an Update Panel within one of the pages of a Tab View.
I end up with an error: "Cannot unregister Update Panel with ID 'Update Panel1' since it was not registered with the Script Manager.
The examples I've seen of adding a new section to umbraco include the code to allow a Tab View control to be added to a page within the new section.
In an override of On Init() you then set the Tab page's heading text and assign a Pane to become the Tab page's content. p=71 This all works fine and the page appears correctly.
